The 2010 Olympics in Vancouver have had quite a wild ride with incredible highs and lows. However, if you’ve been lucky enough to be in the host city this Winter Olympics, you’ll agree that the spirit of the Olympics is alive and well in the locals and the tourists.
On Thursday, a flash mob hit Vancouver’s Robson Square and performed a dance with each dancer sporting a pair of the famous Vancouver Olympics red mittens. With the line-up wrapped around the building of Canadian department store, The Bay, the $10 red mittens are all the rage. Yes, somehow Oprah even got her hands on a pair (she must have stood in line for quite a while).
It’s not too late to make some fast money from the 2010 Olympics. The Olympic hockey semifinals begin tonight, with the gold medal game this Sunday.
